THE POSSIBILITY OF A MIRACLE

A bird with sky as its wings

soared high

The children who saw it

became river in joy pristine

The adults were suffering defeat

at the hands of

all sorts of assumptions and presumptions

The primordial woman

presented her prayer.

O, Angel of Love

We have grown tired

swirling the sword in the air

In river sans water

how long can we swim

Go round the earth

sponging the germs of virus

with your wings

and flying up above

Give back Life, the Boon

once again, soon.

ந.பெரியசாமி கவிதை

நிகழக்கூடும் அதிசயம்

வானங்களை

இறகாக கொண்ட பறவையொன்று

மேல் எழுந்தது.

கண்ட சிறார்கள்

களிப்பில் நதியாகினர்.

வளர்ந்தவர்கள்

யூகங்களிடம் தோற்றுக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

ஆதிக்கிழவி வேண்டுதலை வைத்தாள்.

அன்பின் தேவதையே

வெறும் காற்றில் கத்தியை சுழற்றி

களைப்படைந்தோம்.

நீரற்ற ஆற்றில்

எவ்வளவு நேரம்தான் நீந்துவது.

உலகைச் சுற்று

இறக்கைகளால்

தொற்றுக் கிருமிகளை

வழித்தெடுத்து வான் பறந்து

மீண்டும்

வாழ்வைக் கொடுத்திடு.
