THE TEXT

In the drawing room beyond Death

He is lying

Books forsaken

remaining in the shelf

peep through

With a pen blocking the way to heaven

His intelligence makes him lament.

Attempting to write down in Sky White

the tragedy of transient Life

informing the readers

who came across on installment basis

of the possibilities of discounts

he walked on

For the queries given

managing to respond

giving some excuse or other

in the place of an answer

collecting and multiplying

opportune time and place

he gathers massive support.

With ‘Justices and Injustices

alienating him from outside

the books celebrate him

to their hearts’ content.

வரவேற்பறையில்

படுத்திருக்கிறான்

கைவிடப்பட்ட

புத்தகங்கள்

அலமாரியில் இருந்தபடி

எட்டிப்பார்க்கின்றன

சொர்க்கத்திற்குச்

செல்ல முயற்சித்த

பாதையை

எழுதுகோல் ஒன்று

வழி மறிக்க

அறிவிலிருந்து புலம்பத்

தொடங்குகிறான்

இடைப்பட்ட வாழ்வின்

துயரத்தை

ஆகாய வெள்ளையில்

எழுதிப் பார்க்க

தவனை முறையில்

எதிர்ப்பட்ட வாசகர்களிடம்

தள்ளுபடி வாய்ப்பினைத்

தெரிவித்தபடி நடந்தான்

தொடுக்கப்பட்ட

வினாக்களுக்கு

சமாளிப்பை

பதிலளித்து

சமய சந்தர்ப்பங்களைக்

கூட்டி பேராதரவைத்

திரட்டுகிறான்

நியாயங்களும்

அநியாயங்களும்

அவனை வெளியிலிருந்து

அந்நியப்படுத்த

புத்தகங்கள் அவனை

கொண்டாடித் தீர்க்கின்றன
