My daughter and myself only.

On failing to come your grant

would be stopp ed,

said they”.

"At home all are starving

They gave us 2000 and brought us here”

“We have given you job. So, you have to be present”,

they insisted.”

_These reprimands and retributions

seem to be just and fair

Yet

Even in violence inherent

shocking sub-texts.

Wails

Laments

Screams

Gushing forth from the wounds

the same-colour blood.

That everything was for

just a bottle of liquor

is unbelievable but all the same true

as ever

in all strategic arousal of feelings

and emotions

it is these hapless poor folks

instigated; injured.

Seeing tears swelling

in the eyes of

My son sitting in front of laptop

and my daughter standing behind

on one leg

I couldn’t control my tears

O the Kings of Tomorrow

lying in wait to ascend the throne….

Beware!

Don’t you dare dream

of turning these gullible folks into

hoodlums and henchmen

for safeguarding your Seats of Power

வன்முறைக்குள்ளும்

அதிர்ச்சி தரும் உட்கிளைகள்..

எரித்தல்.. எரிதல்

பச்சைக் காயங்களில் கொப்பளிக்கும் ஒரேநிறக் குருதி.

வெறுமனே ஒரு போத்தல் சாராயத்திற்காகத்தான்

எல்லாமென்பதை

இன்னமும் முழுசாய் நம்ப முடியவில்லை.

எல்லாக் காலங்களிலும் போலவே

உணர்வு போதைகளில்

தூண்டப்படுவது

இவ்வப்பாவி ஏழைகளே

மடிக்கணனி முன்னமர்ந்திருந்த

மகனினதும்

அவன் முதுகிற்குப் பின்னால் ஒற்றைக்காலில் நின்ற

மகளினதும்

நிறைந்து தளும்பிய

கண்கள் கண்டு

அழுகை முட்டிக் கொண்டு வருகிறது எனக்கும்..

அரியணைக்காய்

காத்துக் கிடக்கும்

நாளைய

அரசர்களே..

மறுபடியும்

நீங்களும்

இதேபோல

அப்பாவிகளைக்

குண்டர்களாக்கி

உங்கள்

நாற்காலிகளையும்

காவல் காக்கலாம் என்று மட்டும்

தயவு செய்து

கனவு காணாதீர்கள்.
