VENGEFUL WIND

The wind so wild

coming to snatch away the roof of my dwelling

Being scratched and destroyed by the

Roof- planks

The wild wind lay unconscious

At the threshold

Taking hold of the wind

Tying thread in its tail

And making it fly high

The lads of our place

Striving hard.

The surging joy

of having the very wind as Kite

they celebrated throughout the day

with unfading delight.

Insulted to the core

the Wind that had never before

arrived at my threshold

keeps tearing off the posters

I have stuck as part of a campaign

on the walls at the street-corner

so avenging me all the more

பழி தீர்க்கும் கடுங்காற்று ..

என் வீட்டுக்கூரையை

பறிக்க வந்த

கடுங்காற்றை

கூரைத்தகடுகள்

கீறிச் சேதப்படுத்த

வாசலில்

மூர்ச்சித்துக் கிடந்தது..

அக்கடுங்காற்று

காற்றை கையகப்படுத்தி

அதன் வாலில் நூல் கட்டி

பறக்கவிடும்

பிரயத்தனத்தில்

ஊர் சிறார்கள்.

காற்றையே பட்டமாக்கிய குதூகலத்தை

அன்று முழுக்க

கொண்டாடித் தீர்த்தனர்...

அவமான மிகுதியால்

இதுவரை

என் வாசல்

வராத

காற்று

ஓர் பிரசாரத்திற்காய்

தெருவோர சுவர்களில்

நான் ஒட்டிய

சுவரொட்டிகளை

கிழித்து கிழித்து பழி தீர்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
