This rain is not like thee

On a twilight hour

you went away feeling sour

Then also remaining here

the Rain went on conversing, My Dear…

Keeps on pouring, the Rain

Getting drenched, I remain

What more is there to yearn…

*

While holding the umbrella straight

the rain pours leaning

When the umbrella is held slanting

the rain pours erect

How to appease this Rain

that is all set to soak thee

again and again

*

Enough of conversing

Just rest a while

I need to enjoy

Rain Divine.

*

Standing at the threshold

Enjoying Rain utmost

Says she thrilled to the core.

The rain about to end

starts pouring as before

*

Beginning and ending

in Rain at best

My dialogue with thee,

My dearest

*

I feel ill at ease

without the roaring noise

This rain could have

remained

For some more time.

*

One and all go along

Their own course

So does Rain

Of course.

*

In this minute

I am Happiness Absolute.

Nothing great has taken place

Outside my cabin

Rain’s resonance.

*

Along its course the Rain sprays

droplets of water

That’s why

One and all keep penning

உன்னைப்போலல்ல

இந்த மழை

ஒரு அந்திப்பொழுதில்

கோபித்துச்சென்றிருந்தாய் நீ

அப்போதும் உடனிருந்து

பேசிக்கொண்டே

இருந்தது மழை..

பொழிந்த படியே

இருக்கின்றது மழை

நனைந்து கொண்டே

இருக்கின்றேன் நான்

வேறென்ன வேண்டும்...

*

நேராக

குடைபிடிக்கும்போது

சாய்வாக பொழிகிறது

சாய்வாக குடைபிடிக்கும் போது

நேராக பொழிகிறது

நனைத்தே தீருவேன் என

அடம்பிடிக்கும் மழையை

எப்படித்தான் சமாதானப்படுத்துவது

பேசியது போதும்

சற்று ஓய்வெடு

மழையை இரசிக்கவேண்டும்

நான்..

*

வாசலில் நின்றபடி

மழை இரசிப்பதாக

பரவசத்துடன் பகிர்கின்றாள்

நிற்கவிருந்த மழை

பொழியத்துவங்குகிறது மீண்டும்..

மழையில் தொடங்கி

மழையிலேயே

முடிந்து விடுகின்றது

உன்னுடனான உரையாடல்..

*

இரைச்சல் சத்தம்

கேட்காமல்

என்னவோ போலிருக்கிறது

இன்னும் கொஞ்சம்

நீடித்திருக்கலாம்

இந்த மழை

*

அவரவர்களின்

போக்கிலேயே

சென்று கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள்

மனிதர்கள்

அதன் போக்கில்

பெய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது

மழை

இந்த நிமிடத்தில்

மிகவும் சந்தோசமாக இருக்கிறேன்

அப்படி ஒன்றும் பெரிதாக நிகழ்ந்துவிடவில்லை...

அறைக்கு வெளியே

கேட்டபடியே இருக்கிறது

மழை பொழியும் சத்தம்
