No, not a pond of that sort

Then what at all there so special

Well, there is pond there is lotus

உங்கள் ஊரில் பொற்றாமரைக்குளம் இருக்கிறதா

அப்படி ஒரு குளம் இல்லை

அப்போ உங்கள் ஊரில்

விசேடமாக என்னதான் இருக்கிறது

குளம் இருக்கிறது தாமரை இருக்கிறது

When I looked at my own shadow

wonder-struck

A cloud came and stole it off

Then, wonder what it thought

It returned my shadow

It might’ve thought that I would

admonish it

for it hid itself behind another cloud

The clouds must’ve learnt their lessons

From children.

என் நிழலையே நான் பார்த்து வியந்தபோது

ஒரு மேகம் வந்து அதைத் திருடிச் சென்றது

பிறகு என்ன நினைத்துக்கொண்டதோ

திருப்பி என் நிழலைத் தந்துவிட்டது

நான் திட்டுவேனென்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டதோ

இன்னொரு மேகத்தின் பின்னால் ஒளிந்துகொண்டது

மேகங்கள்

குழந்தைகளிடம் பாடம் படித்திருக்கலாம்.
