In a lone piece of charcoal

How many a cinder would have burnt and died down!

In the twinkling flame of the wick

what all permutations and combinations of light

would have mingled!

In a flower

how much of pollen would be encircling!

In a fruit

how much flavour would taste sweet!

In a friendship

how much love would have bloomed!

Deeming all to be aroma unmatched

let’s twine them all in a string;

Within us Everything.

ஒரு கரித்துண்டில்

எத்தனை கங்குகள்

எரிந்து அடங்கியிருக்கும்

ஒரு சுடரில்

எத்தனை ஒளிச்சேர்வை

கூடியிருக்கும்

ஒரு பூவில் எத்தனை

மகரந்தங்கள் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும்

ஒரு கனியில்

எத்தனை சுவை தித்திப்பாய் இருக்கும்
