THROUGH THE WINDOW

Windows wide-opened

the room wants.

Each time it is banged shut

It does feel suffocated.

Let not anybody abhor windows

In order to love the wind.

It is through the windows thrown open

that we marvel at the sight of this golden world.

For someone who can’t walk since birth

windows are legs in truth!

The exquisite beauty of a cabin

lies in its tiny windows.

Rooms without windows

none wishes for.

How many of us have thrown open

our heart’s window

so thoroughly pristine….?

ஜன்னலின் வழியே

ஜன்னல்கள் அகலத்

திறந்து கிடப்பதனையே

அனேகமாக விரும்புகிறது அறை

அது இழுத்துச் சாத்தப்படும்

ஒவ்வொரு முறையும்

அதற்கு மூச்சுத் திணறல்

ஏற்படாமல் இல்லை

காற்றை நேசிப்பதற்காக

யாரும் ஜன்னல்களை

முற்றாக வெறுக்காதீர்கள்

அகலத் திறந்து கிடக்கும்

ஜன்னல்கள் ஊடாகத்தான்

இந்த தங்க உலகை

நாம் வியந்து ரசிக்கிறோம்

பிறவியிலிருந்து நடக்க

முடியா ஒருத்தனுக்கு

ஜன்னலென்பது கால்களாகும்

அறையின் பேரழகே

அதன் குட்டிக் குட்டி ஜன்னல்கள்தான்

ஜன்னல்களற்ற அறைகளை

பெரிதாக யாரும் விரும்புவதில்லை

நம்மில் எத்தனைபேர்

நமது இதயத்தின் ஜன்னலை

தூய்மையுடன் திறந்து வைத்திருக்கிறோம்
