Kittens are chubby and cherubic and have an I too high

in acting as suits their whims and fancies

but when they become pet animals

One might say, “Hey, don’t touch my pet

they are costly things, mind it

and in return I won’t touch your stupid cat”.

This pact is indeed brilliant.

And, whether a self-willed cat or a pet

They in the end invariably step out seeking outlet.

When the one who had nurtured it

caressing it every now and then

shed tears heartbroken

we need to observe a minute’s silence

paying homage.

பூனை குட்டிகள் வளப்பமானவை மற்றும் தான்தோன்றித்தனத்தில் தன்னிச்சையானவை

ஆனால் அவைகளே வளர்ப்பு பிராணியாகும் போது

ஒருவர் சொல்லக்கூடும் என் பூனையை நீ தொடாதே அவை விலை உயர்ந்தவை மாறாக உன் அசட்டுப் பூனையை நான் தொட மாட்டேன். இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் அருமையானது தான்.

மற்றபடி தன்னிச்சையான பூனையாக இருந்தாலும் வளர்ப்புப் பூனையாக இருந்தாலும் அவை கடைசியில் எப்படியும் வெளியில் வந்து தான் விடுகின்றன.

அதைத் தடவி தடவி வளர்த்தவர் கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் போது நாம் ஒருநிமிடம் மௌன அஞ்சலி செலுத்த வேண்டியிருக்கிறது.
