noticed.
The child drawn
in the semblance of God
growing into an adult
returns to a cliff.
Alive and kicking
it reaches the hands of
the sculptor
waiting to carve Satan.
With the removal of
each particle
Satan alive
is all set to come out.
He who comes
and stands next to Satan
on the carved boulder
laughs:
“The same hands that carved me
resembling God’s
when I was a child
had sculpted the semblance of Satan
Today’
The sculptor’s hands shiver.
‘indeed it is God that
reality has turned into Satan’
-Observing thus
goes away Satan
pain-borne.
Now the sculptor’s hands
lie resting.

2.HOW MANY CABINS STILL LEFT?
all his dreams
He asked just one question.
Losing his essential self
absolutely
Standing in the middle of a dense jungle
He was retrieving his soul
buried under some unknown tree.
He separated his head from his torso
His hands remained stretched
begging shamelessly
‘They who give are noble ones,
those who give not….’
He swallowed
the words that followed.
The right eye searched for a way
to renew the lost vision of the left eye
At the time of death
Who would get this eye with
ripe cataract.
Chasing words
on behalf of the stomachs
inside which
the demon of poverty
danced deliriously
he begged all for alms
leaving none at all
Taking out poems of yester years
he quenched his hunger
For others too there would remain
dreams of their own to eat
so their hunger satiated.
For going to the other side of the revolving earth
and hide himself
doing away with all walls
he stood there bearing just the burdens
in the running train no place to sit
nor any spot to keep it and rest
the burden that has got into the heart
Alas where to place it at all
Coming out of the room
He never did return
In Memory’s racks
How many remain as yet?
Unfastening the legs
That have grown weary in the
Incessant running with the query pursuing
Awaiting the arrival of hands
that have gone to beg
Not being able to wipe his tears
He remained standing at the door
Naked to the core.
