With strength immense
as whales many a million
It lies there scattering love all over
From time immemorial..
Holding close in an embrace
Shaking you off without a second glance
Is its usual pastime.
Having two different dispositions
For night and day
Ho, why this farce , who can say…
Having one tinge during day
And another during night
Why this masquerade always
Burying anger deep down
All too carefully for years on end
It suddenly bursts into volcanic fury unleashed
flooding thunderously bringing everything in its fold
destroying all regions close and more indeed
Leaving a whole lot bereaved.
I could never comprehend the language of Sea!!
In night’s clandestine moments
Creeping as whiff of air into my ears
Sprinkling poems all over
the nooks and crannies of my heart
It just vanishes.
What a grand mystery is this!!

Could it be that it
Thus makes a mockery of
Human nature
in such a grand manner????
• கடல் ஒரு மாயப்பிறவி
கடலின் மொழியை
என்னால் புரிந்து கொள்ள
முடிந்ததில்லை.....
ஓராயிரம் கோடித் திமிங்கலத்தைப் போல
அசுர பலத்தோடு அது
அன்பை வாரி இறைத்துக் கொண்டு கிடக்கிறது
.அனாதி காலமாய்.......
வாரியணைத்துக்கொள்வதும்
உதறித் தள்ளுவதும் அதற்கு
வாடிக்கையான பொழுது போக்கு..
இரவில் ஒரு குணம்
பகலில் ஒரு குணம்
இதென்ன கபடவேஷம்..
மதியம் ஒரு நிறம்
மாலை ஒரு நிறம்...
இதென்ன பொய் பூச்சு....
கோபத்தை பொத்தி..பொத்தி
வைத்துக் கொண்டு
திடீரென ஆங்காரமாய்
எரிமலைத்தணலாய் ..வெடித்து
ஆர்ப்பரித்து
அரவணைத்துக்கிடந்த ஊர்களையெல்லாம்
அழித்து அலங்கோலமாக்குகிறது.
கடலின் மொழியை
என்னால் புரிந்து கொள்ளவே
முடிந்ததில்லை !!!
வினோதமாக இரவின் ரகசியத்தருணங்களில்
என் செவிக்குள் காற்றென ஊர்ந்து
மனம் நிறையக்
கவிதைகளைத் தூவிவிட்டு
மறைந்து விடுகிறது!!!
இதென்ன மர்மம்!!

ஒரு வேளை
மனித இயல்பைத் தான்
அது பிரும்மாண்டமாகப்
பழித்துக் காட்டுகிறதா???
