Today in my garden

a jasmine plant

awaits your arrival

Yesterday it was waiting for me

The day before

it was waiting for her.

Sprouting a flower

for everyone

it languished with no arrival.

For the jasmine with face turned radiant

in the soft shower of the morn

a flower it presented

In the joy of your arrival tomorrow

which is waiting to bestow a gift

it collects buds today.

Sitting upon the sprouting leaf of it

which with heart full of

the fragrance of love

is waiting for all, for ever

I too am waiting for your arrival

without fail.

இன்றென் தோட்டத்தில்

ஒரு மல்லிகைக் கொடி

உங்கள் வருகைக்காய் காத்திருக்கிறது

நேற்று எனக்காய் காத்திருந்தது

முந்தாநாள் அவளுக்காய் காத்திருந்தது

ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒரு பூ பூத்து

வருகையின்றி வாடியது

காலையில் சிறு தூறலில்

முகம் மலர்ந்த மல்லிகைக்கு

ஒரு பூவை பரிசளித்தது

நாளையும் பரிசளிக்கக் காத்திருக்கும்

உங்கள் வருகையின் மகிழ்வில்

இன்றோ மொட்டுக்களை சேகரிக்கிறது

மனம் அளவு நேசத்தின் வாசனையால்

எல்லோர்க்கும் காத்திருக்கும்

அதன் தளிரில் அமர்ந்து காத்திருக்கிறேன்

நானும் உங்கள் வருகைக்காய்.
