In all the twists and turns of Time

Bending breaking

being wounded

bearing all adversities

the trees

plant their roots deep down.

After planting firm

they that become

the lounging citadel

and their Mother Dear

holding them in her cool lap of shade

never ever seek shelter

under the mushroom cover

காலத்தின்

அத்தனை சுழற்சியிலும்

வளைந்தும் உடைந்தும்

காயப்பட்டுமே

தம் இருப்பின் வேரை

ஆழ ஊன்றுகின்றன

விருட்சங்கள்.

ஊன்றியபின்

பறவைகளின்

ஆசுவாச அரணாகவும்

நிழல் மடி விரிக்கும்

அன்னையாகவும்

மாறிப்போகும் அவை ,

காளான் குடைகளின் கீழ்

ஏதொரு போதும்

நிழல் தேடுவதில்லை !
