He who knows the pain of hunger

Uses the for feeding the fishes.

The strength of the fish

felt

while pulling at it

with the cork submerging

is enough

He who has surrendered himself to defeat

Evolves into a great hunter.

He who sits on the shore

and throw the bait

has the trait of fish.

Eating the bait-worm

the fish pulls at the cork.

The baiter snatches and pulls back

The fish-bone

writhes and leaps on the ground

The fish didn’t bite

Nor the cork stirred

My eyes are intent on that

The river goes on

along its course

He who throws the bait

questions the river.

He who throws the bait

disturbs the focus of the river

concentrating on the current

Furious, the fish bites

Time flows river-like

Life swims fish-like

Events throw off

everything alike.

கடங்கநேரியான் தமிழ்நாடு

1 . பசியின் வலியறிந்தவன்

தூண்டிலை மீன்களுக்கு

உணவளிக்கப் பயன்படுத்துகிறான் .

தக்கை மூழ்க

சுண்டியிழுக்கும் போது

உணரும் மீனின் வலிமை போதும்

3 .

தோல்விக்கு

தன்னை ஒப்புக் கொடுத்தவனே

சிறந்த வேட்டையாடி யாகிறான் .

கரையிலமர்ந்து

தூண்டிலிடுபவனுக்கு

மீனின் குணம் .

5 .

தூண்டில் புழுவைத் தின்றபடி

தக்கையை இழுக்கிறது மீன்

சுண்டியிழுக்கிறான் வேட்டையாடி

தரையில் துள்ளுகிறது

மீனும் கடிக்கவில்லை

தக்கையும் அசையவில்லை

என் கண்களின் பார்வை அதிலேயே இருக்கிறது

ஆறு அதன் போக்கில் போய்க் கொண்டிருக்கிறது .

தூண்டிலை வீசுபவன்

ஆற்றிடம் கேள்வி கேட்கிறான் .

ஓட்டத்தில் மனம் குவித்திருக்கும்

ஆற்றின் கவனத்தை சிதறடிக்கிறான்

தூண்டில் காரன்

கோபத்தில் கடிக்கிறது மீன் .

9 .

காலம் நதியென ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது

வாழ்வு மீனென நீந்துகிறது

சம்பவங்கள் வெளியே தூக்கி வீசுகிறது .
