Just a small shower only.

In our street the windows of many a house open

The parents search for one Quire notebook

left after all that their children had used

in the classroom

and the Ronald pens

to write rain-poem.

In the opposite house where the child is

yet to be admitted in school

the noise of the husband and wife quarreling

is heard above the rain.

To buy that couple Quire notebooks two

I am wading through the street

getting wet.

சிறிது மழைதான்

எங்கள் தெருவில் நிறைய வீடுகளின் ஜன்னல்கள் திறக்கின்றன.

பிள்ளைகள் பள்ளியில் எழுதியதுபோக மீதமிருக்கும் ஒரு குயர் நோட்டையும் ரெனால்ட் பேனாக்களையும் பெற்றோர்கள் தேடுகிறார்கள்...

மழைக் கவிதை எழுத.

எழுதட்டும்….

குழந்தையை இன்னமும் பள்ளியில் சேர்க்காத எதிர்வீட்டில்,

கணவனும் மனைவியும் சண்டை போட்டுக் கொள்ளும் சத்தம்

மழையை மீறிக் கேட்கிறது.

அவர்களுக்கு இரண்டு

ஒரு குயர் நோட்டு வாங்கித் தர

நனைந்தபடி தெருவில் நடக்கிறேன்.
