It was at the exact moment when I climbed ashore

You had fallen into the river

Leaving behind

my Delirium

Angst

Tears

Helplessness

and for throwing off at another place

bearing the same love

I walk on without a backward glance.

With great caution

I go past all those kisses aplenty

strewn all over the path

taking care not to stamp on them…

Letting go a finger is not easier than holding it;

Yet

the pressure of compulsions has made it possible.

As a tumour severed and thrown away

Your tears stand in front of me

barricading

Allow me to go!

I should leave

Not for myself alone

but for your sake also….

Going through my letters one more time

throw them into that fire.

Let them die hand in hand with Love.

Viewing the torn umbilical chord

And weeping

O, stop doing that

And throw open all the doors.

The flower blossoming in a crack

Worldly victories

Or a new love

that turns the past upside down

might fill the vacuum.

நான் கரையேறிய நொடியில்தான்

நீ நதியில் விழுந்திருக்கிறாய்...

என்

பித்தத்தை

தவிப்பை

கண்ணீரை

இயலாமையை

அங்கேயே விட்டுவிட்டு

வேறிடத்தில் வீசி எறிவதற்காக

அதே காதலைச் சுமந்தபடி

திரும்பிப் பார்க்காமல் நடக்கிறேன்...

பாதையெங்கும் கொட்டிக் கிடக்கும்

முத்தங்களை மிதித்து விடாமல்

மிகுந்த ஜாக்கிரதையோடுதான்

தாண்டிப் போகிறேன்...

ஒரு விரலைப் பற்றுவதை விட

விட்டு விடுவது எளிதானதல்ல;

என்றாலும்

நிர்பந்தங்களின் துரத்தல்கள்

இதைச் சாத்தியமாக்கியிருக்கிறது...

வெட்டி எறிந்தகட்டியாய்

என் முன்னால் மறித்து நிற்கிறது

உன் கண்ணீர்;

வழி விடு!

நான் போக வேண்டும்;

எனக்காக மட்டுமல்ல

உனக்காகவும்...

என் கடிதங்களை

இன்னொரு முறை படித்து விட்டு

அந்த நெருப்பில் வீசியெறி;

காதலுடன்உடன்கட்டை ஏறட்டும்...

அறுந்து கிடக்கும்

தொப்புள் கொடியைப் பார்த்து

தேம்புவதை நிறுத்தி விட்டு

எல்லா அறைகளையும்

அகலத் திறந்து வை...

விரிசலில் மலர்ந்த பூவோ

லௌகீக வெற்றிகளோ

இறந்த காலத்தை

கொட்டிக் கவிழ்க்கும்

இன்னொரு காதலோ

அந்த வெற்றிடத்தை நிரப்பி விடலாம்..
