A DREAM

Pramil and Athmanam who visit daily without fail

have not come for the past few days.

With Gibran and Camus on leave

Have you seen Nagarjunan Su.Ra

accompanying Thamizhavan asked they

Bharathi and Chellamma chopping onion and singing

while Na.Pi and Pu.Pi were drinking ‘Kambangkoozh’

in Kamban’s abode _

standing outside Athmajeev was savouring it all

it seems.

Pattinathuppilai going that way

followed by Bathruhari, a begging bowl and a dog

How many times to tell you, ye family man,

not to come along

admonished Pu.Pi

heartily laughing.

Well, but when at all

it would dawn _

wondering thus sitting at the doorway

the Fireball.

ஆத்மாஜீவ்

ஒரு கனவு

தினசரி வந்து போகும்

பிரமீளும் ஆத்மாநாமும்

நாலைந்து நாட்களாக வரவேயில்லை

ஜிப்ரானும் காம்யூவும் விடுப்பிலிருக்க

தமிழவனுடன் வரும் நாகார்ஜூனன்

சுராவை பார்த்தாயா என்றார்கள்

நபியும் புபியும் கம்பன் வீட்டில்

கம்பங்கூழ் குடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது

பாரதியும் செல்லம்மாவும்

வெங்காயம் நறுக்கியபடி

பாடிக் கொண்டிருந்ததை

வெளியில் நின்று ரசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தானாம்

ஆத்மாஜீவ்

அந்தவழி போன பட்டிணத்துப்பிள்ளைக்குப்பின்

பத்ரகிரியும் திருவோடும் நாயொன்றும் தொடர

எத்தனைதான் சொல்வது சம்சாரி

உடன்வராதே என்று

கோபித்துக் கொண்டாராம் சிரித்தபடி பபி

எல்லாம் சரிதான் எப்போதான் விடியுமென்று

வாசலிலேயே அமர்ந்திருந்தது

நெருப்புக் கோளம்
