no wonder indeed.

The real name in the records

Another to be used by the household members

Known as just the Initials in

work spot.

Friends mostly use codeword

none other can decipher.

For all these references

In tune with the tone and tenor of the voices

that call

there remain

memories exclusive in heart’s racks!

When you start calling a person

in a name unknown to any

so uniquely

a world for

just the two of you

with its secrets integral

comes to be.

When midway

for some reason

one of the two goes away

their world’s sheer aloneness

with none to address

turns the remaining one

go crazy anon

and wander with name gone oblivion.

ஒன்றிற்கு மேலும் பெயர்களிருப்பது

அவ்வளவு ஒன்றும் அதிசயமில்லை!

ஆவணங்களில் அசலான ஒன்று,

வீட்டிலுள்ளவர்கள் அழைக்க வேறொன்று,

வேலையிடத்தில் அறியப்படுவதோ

வெறும் தலைப்பெழுத்துகளாக மாத்திரமே !

நண்பர்கள் பாவிப்பதோ

பெரும்பாலும் குழுஉக்குறி

வேறெவருக்கும் புரியாது .

இத்தனை விளிகளுக்கும்

அழைத்திடும் குரல்களின் தொனிக்குத் தக ,

மனத்தின் அடுக்குகளில்

தனி நினைவுகள் உண்டு !

பிறர் யாருமறியாத பெயரில் ,

பிரத்யேகமாக ஒருவரை

நீங்கள் அழைக்கத் தொடங்கும்போது ,

உங்களிருவருக்கு மட்டுமே ஆனதொரு

உலகம் அதன் இரகசியங்களோடு பிறக்கிறது !

இடையில் ஏதோ காரணம்பற்றி

ஒருவர் விலகும்போது

எஞ்சிய மற்றவரை ,

அவ்வுலகின்

அழைப்பாரற்ற தனிமை

பித்தாக்கிப்

பெயர் மறந்தலையச் செய்கிறது.
