The Love of those _

Who handover the gift after tearing off

the price-tag _

Who utter not words

that character assassinate

Who availing permission

donate blood every month without fail _

Who say sorry in all innocence

keen on ending

fight born of misunderstanding _

Who go around searching for button

for replacing the fallen eye of

the teddy bear, a gift

and stitch it proper; perfect _

Who choose to laugh wide

without waiting for their sobs to subside _

Who preserve the key-chain

even after selling the vehicle_

Who turns composed

before being consoled _

Who not knowing pretension

Willingly resort to submission _

Knows not to break down

விலைச்சீட்டை கிழித்துவிட்டு

பரிசளிப்பவர்கள்

எவ்வளவு ஆத்திரத்திலும்

ஒழுக்கத்தை இழித்து பழி சொல்லாதவர்கள்

மாதம் தவறாமல் பர்மிஷன் போட்டு

இரத்த தானம் செய்பவர்கள்

வெகுளித்தனமாய் சண்டையை

முடிக்க மன்னிப்பு கேட்டு விடுகிறவர்கள்

பரிசளிக்கப்பட்ட கரடி பொம்மையின்

உதிர்ந்துவிட்ட கண்ணுக்கு

பித்தான் தேடி அலைந்து தைப்பவர்கள்

விசும்பல் நிற்கும் முன்பே

சிரித்து விடுகிறவர்கள்

வண்டியை விற்றபின்னும் கீசெயினை

பத்திரமாய் வைத்திருப்பவர்கள்

சமாதானப்படுத்தும் முன்பே

சமாதானம் ஆகிவிடுகிறவர்கள்

பாசாங்கு செய்யத்தெரியாமல்

பணிந்து விடுகிறவர்கள்

காதலுக்கு

தோற்கவும் தெரியாது.
