With lust spread dense as the hue of rainy night

with love as flashes of lightning

showing the way

earth and space

entwined in communion

in the  desolate  wilderness.

The ‘white rat’ fearing torrential downpour

goes on elongating its furrow

unaware of the trace of snake

pursuing.

Not like the swarm of moths

that live and die not more than a day

the flower blossoming

midway.

கார்கால இரவின் நிறமென
காமம் படர்ந்திருக்க
அவ்வப்போது தோன்றிமறையும்
மின்னலாய் காதல் வழிகாட்ட
முயங்கிக் கிடக்கின்றன
விண்ணும் மண்ணும்
ஆள் அரவமற்ற
தரிசுக் காட்டில் .

பெருமழைக்குப் பயந்த வெள்ளெலி தன் வளையை

நீட்டித்துக் கொண்டேயிருக்கிறது
பின்வரும் சர்ப்பத்தின் தடமறியாமல் .
ஓரிரவு வாழ்ந்து மடியும்
புற்றீசல்களைப் போலில்லை
மத்திமத்தில்
மலரும் பூ
