Eveni if you run after a bird

can you see its trail?

Even if you come at daybreak to

hear the sound of flower falling

that would have woken up long before you

and changed its attire.

In the water wherein the moon dripped

there wouldn’t emanate the fragrance of the moon

as you imagine.

Even if you see the five-coloured parrot ‘panchavarnakkili’

that you saw in the early evening

in twilight hour

its five colours will remain the same.

Where would You who goes to view mountain

see the mountain

You in the mountain or the mountain in you.

Even if you walk along the seashore

with waves touching your feet

in its foam that scatters as leaves

O which sea you would catch and how.

Stand as a plant in the plain

Stand as a fig tree in an expanse of sand

Relish the rain…. Savour the Sun

Camel would come

Get on it carrying a bundle of heat

Let the rain pour for a river to form next.

ஒரு பறவையின் பின் நீ பறந்தோடினாலும்

அதன் தடம் பார்க்கவா முடியும்.?

மலர் விழும் ஒலி கேட்க விடிகாலை வந்தாலும உனை முந்தி எழுந்து

உடை மாற்றி இருக்கும்.

நிலா சொட்டிய நீரில் நீ நினைப்பது போலே

நிலா மணம் வீசாதே.

முன் மாலை பார்த்த பஞ்சவர்ணக் கிளியை

பின் மாலை பார்த்தாலும்

ஐஞ்சு வண்ணம் மாறாது

மலை பார்க்கப் போகும் நீ மலை எங்கு

பார்ப்பாய்

மலைக்குள் நீ..அன்றி உனக்குள் மலை.

அலையில் கால் பாவ கரையோரம் நடந்தாலும்

இலை உதிர்வது போல் உதிரும்

நுரையில் எக் கடலை எப்படிப் பிடிப்பாய்?

சமவெளியில் நில் ஒரு செடியாய்.

மணல்வெளியில் நில் ஓர் ஈச்சமரமாய்

மழை ரசி...வெயில் ருசி

ஒட்டகம் வரும்

அதில் கொண்டு போ ஒரு பொதி வெயிலை.

மழை பெய்யட்டும் அடுத்து ஒரு நதி உருவாக..
