Between that story which hesitating to tell the truth

went around beating the bush

and the poem that brazenly wrote

a Lie

Conscience remained stuck.

The poem that had softened the language in

feelings and emotions

and written on the walls of heart

proved incomprehensible to one and all.

In that

when Life too was recorded in the lines

True that the words appeared to be living in right earnest.

Fiction alone in which words

wherein the last letters contradict each other

and thus Doubt gets smeared all over

is quite interesting

- said they in unison.

உண்மையைச்

சொல்லத் தயங்கி

மழுப்பி எழுதிய கதைக்கும்

பொய்யை

வெளிப்படையாய்த்

துணிந்து எழுதிய கவிதைக்கும்

நடுவினிலே

மனசாட்சி சிக்கியிருந்தது

மொழியை

உணர்ச்சியில் மென்மையாக்கி

இதயத்தின் சுவர்களில்

எழுதப்பட்ட கவிதை

யாருக்கும் புரியவேயில்லை

அதில்

வசனங்களில்

வாழ்க்கையையும்

சேர்த்தே பதிந்த போது

வார்த்தைகள்

நேர்மையாக வாழ்வது போலத்

தெரிந்ததும் உண்மை.

கடைசி எழுத்துக்கள்

ஒன்றோறொன்று

முரண்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளில்

சந்தேகம் அப்பிக்கொள்கின்ற

புனை கதைதான்

சுவாரசியமென்று

எல்லோருமே சொன்னார்கள்.........
