Let this day be my last _

So a decision

taken every morn….

The book half read _

The blossom of the Cactus plant

sprouted in the courtyard

on its own_

The moans and squeals of orgasm

heard from the house adjacent_

The hands knocking at the door

with birthday sweets to savour _

The warmth of a word

in the poem born anew _

The face frozen

on the video-call screen _

Suffice to have

a slender reason

for death to be postponed

every time I turn

suicide-prone.

பாதி வாசித்து முடித்த புத்தகம்

பக்கத்துவீட்டு காதலர்களின் கலவி சத்தம்

பிறந்தநாள் இனிப்புடன் கதவை தட்டும் கைகள்

புதிய கவிதையின் சொல்லொன்றின் கதகதப்பு

வீடியோ அழைப்பின் திரையில் உறைந்த முகம்

ஒத்தி் வைக்க சின்னஞ்சிறு காரணம்

போதுமானதாயிருக்கிறது
