THE LOOK OF AN INABILITY

That the look of an inability would be

this sharp

I have never thought.

It

keeps on piercing

a void

a book

an instant

a shout

a ripe leaf

a non-existence

a shine

a gloom

It

keeps entering inside

a silence

a word

a bewildered state of mind

a wine-cup

a great saying

a philosophy

an absurdity

a mental aberration

That the look of an inability would be

this sharp

I have never thought

It causes tremors in

an aloneness

an accession

a caress

a kissing

a proximity

an embrace

a bodily motion

a gentle touch

It

Throws a challenging call

towards a discussion

towards a recommendation

towards a pity

towards a permission

towards a rejection

towards a promise

towards a verdict

towards a footnote

That the look of an inability would be

this sharp

none has any complaint

none has any thing to enquire

none has assumptions any

none feels restive on that account

I have never thought

that the look of an inability

would be something that would prove

this impassable

சதா துளைத்தபடி இருக்கிறது

ஒரு வெற்றிடத்தை

ஒரு புத்தகத்தை

ஒரு தருணத்தை

ஒரு கூச்சலை

ஒரு பழுத்த இலையை

ஓர் இருப்பின்மையை

ஒரு பிரகாசத்தை

ஓர் இருளை

அது

எப்போதும் நுழைந்தபடி இருக்கிறது

ஒரு மௌனத்துக்குள்

ஒரு சொல்லுக்குள்

ஒரு மதி மயக்கத்துக்குள்

ஒரு மதுக் கோப்பைக்குள்

ஒரு மகா வாக்கியத்துக்குள்

ஒரு தத்துவத்துக்குள்

ஓர் அபத்தத்துக்குள்

ஒரு மனப் பிறழ்வுக்குள்

நான் நினைக்கவில்லை

ஓர் இயலாமையின் பார்வை

இத்தனைக் கூர்மையாய் இருக்கும் என்று

அது

நடுங்கும்படி செய்கிறது

ஒரு தனிமையை

ஒரு கைப்பற்றுதலை

ஒரு வருடலை

ஒரு முத்தமிடலை

ஒரு நெருக்கத்தை

ஓர் அரவணைப்பை

ஓர் உடலசைவை

ஒரு மென் தொடுதலை

அது

அறைகூவலொன்றை விடுக்கிறது

ஒரு விவாதத்தை நோக்கி

ஒரு பரிந்துரையை நோக்கி ஒரு பச்சாதாபத்தை நோக்கி

ஓர் அனுமதியை நோக்கி

ஒரு புறக்கணிப்பை நோக்கி

ஒரு வாக்குறுதியை நோக்கி

ஒரு தீர்ப்பை நோக்கி

ஓர் அடிக்குறிப்பை நோக்கி

ஓர் இயலாமையின் பார்வை

இத்தனைக் கூர்மையாய் இருப்பது குறித்து

யாருக்கும் எந்தப் புகாரும் இல்லை

யாருக்கும் எந்தவொரு விசாரணையும் இல்லை

யாருக்கும் எந்த அனுமானங்களும் இல்லை

யாருக்கும் எந்தத் தவிப்பும் இல்லை

நான் நினைக்கவில்லை

ஓர் இயலாமையின் பார்வை

அத்தனை எளிதாகக்

கடக்க முடியாத ஒன்றாக இருக்கக்கூடும் என்று
